The singer and actress Ana Belén has shocked the public in the latest interview with Lo de Évole. During her visit to the La Sexta program, the Madrid native revealed that a few years ago a well-known film director abused her outside of filming: “he cornered me against the wall and kissed me,” she reveals.

This harsh confession comes one day after Cayetana Guillén Cuervo, a colleague, explained in the documentary Mapa en Pandataria that she was raped when she was six years old. Likewise, this last week three women have accused filmmaker Carlos Vermut of sexual violence.

These latest accusations came to light in a report by El País, thanks to which the media have begun to focus on sexual assaults in the world of cinema.

During her talk with Jordi Évole, Ana Belén wanted to show that these attacks are more common than it seems on the Spanish scene, as can be seen in the preview of the episode that will be broadcast today, Sunday, February 4.

The preview shows how Jordi Évole introduces the movement

Ana Belén, willing to be honest, answers the question affirmatively: “Yes, and they were not subtle moments. It happened to me outside of filming with a director,” details the artist. After a long silence, Évole tries to delve into her case. “Walking down the street at night, [the director] corners me against the wall and kisses me. But without any advance advance. It was unpleasant,” says Ana Belén.

Finally, Jordi probes further by asking: “Would we know him? I mean, if you said this person’s name, would we know who he is?”, to which Ana Belén nods affirmatively.
