The Mossos d’Esquadra arrested a 65-year-old man Thursday who allegedly trafficked drugs between the municipalities of Balaguer and Gerb. He is accused of a crime against public health and the arrest was made following an investigation at the end of July after the police had indications of the presence of a man who trafficked through the two municipalities.
From here, different police devices were set up that allowed the facts to be corroborated and the suspect to be identified. He was stopped while he was driving at kilometer 3 of the LV-9047, in Os de Balaguer. At that time he was carrying a 31.4 gram piece of rock cocaine hidden in his clothing.
The detainee is brought before a court this Friday before the investigative court on duty in Balaguer.
