The Mossos d’Esquadra have arrested a 34-year-old woman accused of stabbing an agent of the Barcelona Urban Police in the ass. The man, who was playing sports in the Montjuïc area, was slightly injured and is admitted to the hospital on a confidential basis.
According to sources close to the investigation, it happened around eleven in the morning, when a woman with no apparent relationship with the agent stabbed him in the buttock. Shortly afterward she tried to attack another person.
Municipal sources have indicated that the attack occurred on Ferrer i Guàrdia street in the city, in the Sants-Montjuïc district, while the agent, who was not in uniform, was on his break.
After being attacked, the agent contacted the emergency telephone number, which notified the authorities and the nearest police patrol. The police force arrested the alleged aggressor this Wednesday morning and is keeping an investigation open.
