Another problem for Ibai Llanos a few days before La Velada del Año 3. The North American streamer Amouranth, the great claim of the day, will not be present at the Cívitas Metropolitano and therefore will not get into the ring to fight Mayichi.
This has been confirmed by the streamer herself on social networks. His loss is a hard blow for Ibai Llanos, organizer of this macro event, and adds to those previously announced by Papi Gavi and Viruzz. The American has explained that it is due to a ‘late-stage ovarian failure’ that has been dragging on since last year, which will begin to be treated this week due to extreme medical developments.
Amouranth’s loss caught the entire community by surprise, but also Ibai himself. The streamer has opened direct just an hour after the announcement and has given his opinion on this whole situation.
Ibai was looking at ElXokas and suddenly he was petrified, without speaking, and he posted a tweet from Amouranth. In the thread he explained that he had had medical problems and so on, and said that he was not going to participate in La Velada del Año. “Yes, yes, it’s incredible, I found out that Amouranth doesn’t participate in La Velada because of the streaming of ElXokas… I haven’t seen that coming,” commented Ibai in his streaming, surprised but trying to take it with the best possible humor .
Amouranth’s idea was to be treated after the Evening due to his commitment to the event, but due to “extreme medical developments”, he has had to start treatment as soon as possible.
The American has commented that she had been having these problems since last year, but that she did not go to treat them until last March, when they explained the situation to her, having to give herself daily injections that could lead to nausea, dizziness and vomiting, and even, as she says, risk of death if she participates in contact sports, at the risk of suffering a blow to the affected area.
What is most surprising about this whole issue is that Ibai himself, organizer of the event, one of the biggest of the year for the streamer community, did not know: “Yesterday I had the last conversation with his agent. I thought he was coming to Spain Today, the check-in and the flights were already done. But it is a medical problem, and health takes precedence over anything.”
On the other hand, Ibai insisted that Amouranth not hate him for all this, although he also commented that “it is a real bitch, both for the organization and for Mayichi, who has been preparing for months.” Even so, everything indicates that the evening will be a success, at least in terms of attendance: the event managed to sell 60,000 tickets in just one hour when they went on sale last May.
