On the eve of the Australian Grand Prix, the third round of the Formula One World Championship, Spanish driver Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin) stated that the team arrives in Australia “with good feelings”.
“We arrived in Australia with good feelings after having achieved two consecutive podiums and we hope to continue improving these results this weekend”, Alonso affirmed in statements released by his team.
“The car has performed quite well at two different circuits (Bahrain and Saudi Arabia). However, we remain grounded and realistic that to continue to get good results we have to perform in all areas of the team.” , adds the two-time world champion.
Alonso considers that “Australia is always a fun race” and says that he is “curious to see the differences with previous years”. “It’s going to be even faster than last year and I hope we’ll see more overtaking,” he said.
“But, as always, qualifying will be crucial at Albert Park, so we have to make sure we have a good Saturday to put ourselves in the best possible position to score maximum points,” stressed the Spaniard.
