Civil Guard agents have arrested a 21-year-old man for allegedly running over a seven-year-old boy in Alfarp (Valencia), who suffered minor injuries, and then fled.

The events occurred around 05:10 a.m. on July 30, when the troops of the Traffic Subsector of the Valencia Civil Guard learned of a minor being run over when he was in a busy parking lot in the town of Alfarp, due to the holidays. that were held in that town, as detailed by the Benemérita in a statement.

After viewing the security cameras, the agents verified that a car had been spinning and skidding constituting an alleged reckless driving until, in one of the maneuvers, it ran over a seven-year-old boy who was riding a bicycle next to him. an older brother.

Despite the fact that those present there recriminated the behavior of the driver, he began a full-speed escape from the scene.

Members of the Alzira Traffic Detachment who went to the scene verified that, fortunately, the minor’s injuries were minor. They collected information and evidence of what had happened, took statements from the witnesses and proceeded to request the COTA Central in Valencia to request the information they had to find the vehicle involved.
