He fatally stabbed the person with whom he shared a home, a squat on Bilbao Street in Roquetas de Mar, in Almería, and tried to escape by climbing onto a three-meter-high roof. Finally, the alleged perpetrator of the crime was arrested by the Civil Guard.

The event, as confirmed by Andalusia’s 112, took place around 7:30 p.m. yesterday, when a call alerted that a man had been attacked with a knife.

The single emergency telephone number mobilized the Health Emergency Center 061, the Poniente Almeriense Fire Consortium and the Civil Guard to the scene.

The armed institute confirmed shortly after to 112 that the victim had died, while the firefighters explained that they had been notified to try to lower the alleged perpetrator of the death, who had climbed onto a roof three meters high.

Sources close to the case have indicated that the victim and aggressor would be of sub-Saharan origin, as well as that both could be residing in the home as squatters.
