A total of 74 Spaniards of the approximately 80 who were scheduled to leave Gaza this Tuesday through the Rafah crossing towards Egypt have already left the strip, are safe and on their way to Cairo, diplomatic sources have informed EFE.

The acting Spanish Foreign Minister, José Manuel Albares, had announced that around eighty citizens would be evacuated from Gaza today, Tuesday, after a total of forty Spanish-Palestinians or their relatives managed to leave the strip yesterday.

The departure of this new group has been possible thanks to the authorization of Israel and the approval of Egypt, since both countries must give their green light to the departure of these people through the Rafah crossing.
