A local Alicante policeman jumped into the water this Sunday to rescue a person who had jumped from a bridge after threatening to commit suicide. The event occurred at noon, on the San Gabriel bridge on Avenida de Elche in Alicante, when the police force was alerted to the presence of a semi-naked individual in a rather aggressive state who threatened to jump into the water.
The agents arrived, this man made several gestures and jumped into the water. One of the members of the local police did not hesitate: he took off his clothes and rushed to rescue this man and drag him to the shore. A neighbor captured the moment that can be seen in the video that was distributed on social networks.
Various sources indicate that the man was rescued in good condition.
