A group of residents of the Valencian Transit district managed to avoid a rape and detained the aggressor until the arrival of the National Police, as reported by the Higher Headquarters of the Valencian Community.

The agents were alerted around 11:00 p.m. on the 18th that several witnesses to a sexual assault had detained a man on a public street. The agents interviewed the victim, who had injuries to her knees after being dragged by her attacker and was in a state of shock, which is why the health personnel were notified.

The witnesses who witnessed this sexual assault managed to stop it and detain the person responsible, a 36-year-old man of Ecuadorian nationality, until the arrival of the agents.

The detainee is charged with a crime of sexual assault and another of mistreatment in the family, since he had previously had a romantic relationship with the victim, as determined by the National Police.
