A fire declared in a house in the municipality of La Pobla de Vallbona has spread to forest land and forced the evacuation of several nearby residences as a precaution.
This has been communicated by the Emergency Coordination Center of the Generalitat, which reports that several teams from the Provincial Fire Department Consortium are currently working in the area.
This fire has made it necessary to declare situation 1 of the Special Plan to deal with forest fires (PEIF) due to the possible impact on non-forest assets.
It is the fourth fire that occurred this Sunday in the Community after the fires in Altea, Estivella and Barx, which also forced the evacuation of 10 people.
