A fire near the Montjuïc castle, in Barcelona, ??has raised a column of smoke visible from many points in the Catalan capital, as confirmed by the Barcelona Fire Brigade and numerous Twitter users have reported.
The fire, which was declared around 2:30 p.m., broke out in a bushy area near the building, on Avenida Miramar.
At least six teams from the Barcelona Fire Brigade have gone to the scene to put out a fire that has not yet been reported as having been affected.
On Twitter, numerous users have shared images of the column of smoke, visible from points such as the Eixample, Les Corts or the port of Barcelona itself.
