The Córdoba firefighters rescued an eighteen-month-old baby who was alone from inside a car at 7:30 a.m. this Friday and his mother was arrested when she showed up to pick up the vehicle at the Municipal Depot in a state of intoxication. The Police found the child in the vehicle and required the intervention of firefighters to open it and rescue the child.
Municipal sources indicate that the juvenile prosecutor has ordered the baby’s admission to a shelter and that the woman has been detained. The baby was located at 7:30 in a vehicle that was parked at Puerta Osario, in the center of Córdoba.
The minor, who was responding to stimuli when he was found, was taken to Police Headquarters while efforts were made to locate his parents, without success. Subsequently, the Juvenile Prosecutor ordered his admission to a shelter.
