The Investigating Court number 4 of Colmenar Viejo has taken a statement this Thursday from three of the alleged victims of the couple accused of mistreating their eight children and one of the daughters has reported that her mother did not hit them, but that her father did mistreat them . Both them and her mother, whom she insulted.
The testimony has been registered in judicial offices as preconstituted evidence for the possible trial for the events that were uncovered last March after the complaint by the eldest daughter of the couple.
One of the minors, 7 years old, explained that her mother did not hit her or her brothers, but that her father did get along badly with her mother, whom he insulted and even grabbed her neck. “My father mistreated everyone”, she has assured her at one point.
This minor, who has assured that she told three teachers at her school what was happening at home, has not specified when or how these events occurred, although she has recounted episodes in which her father punished her without sleeping.
He has highlighted that his father was especially angry with his two older sisters because he did not want them to use WhatsApp.
The other two minors whose testimony was taken this Thursday have said that they did not remember well what was happening at home, although they have explained that their mother did not mistreat them.
The sisters of these girls who testified days ago in court reported mistreatment by the father towards the children.
The Madrid Prosecutor’s Office recently announced that it will appeal the judge’s decision to withdraw the restraining order that the father had against the mother, after requesting it by the woman, who repeatedly asked to be with her husband again because he did not mistreat her.
The prosecutor also requested that a psychological test be carried out on the mother to determine if she suffers from some type of mental disorder.
As of today, the parents have withdrawn the parental authority of their eight children, between the ages of 4 and 14, who are in charge of the social services, and the man under investigation, a doctor at the Gregorio Marañón Hospital in Madrid, continues to practice as such.
Since the restraining order was withdrawn, the couple has lived together again.
The police investigation indicates that the 44-year-old woman was “totally subdued” by her husband, who took advantage of his status as a doctor to justify the continuous absences of his children from school, and who had been in charge of avoiding, with a total “hermetism”, that the mistreatment of minors would come to light.
