A 47-year-old man of Spanish nationality died this Sunday morning on the coast of Platja d’en Bossa, municipality of Eivissa, as reported by the Urgent Medical Care Service (SAMU 061).
The emergency services received the notice around 9:15 a.m., warning that the man had been found floating in the water on the beach located in front of the Torre del Mar hotel.
After rescuing him, the people who have alerted 061 have started cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers following the recommendations of the medical emergency service by phone.
Two ambulances have been sent from the coordination center, one for basic life support and the other for advanced life support.
Upon arrival, the medical technicians of the medicalized ambulance began advanced resuscitation maneuvers for 45 minutes, although without success, having to confirm the man’s death.
