Officials announced Monday that a second suspect in the deadly shooting rampage in Philadelphia was arrested.

The arrest of the person on Monday was not immediately made public. According to Philadelphia police, the U.S. arrested the individual. Marshals Service.

Officials said that gunfire broke out in Philadelphia’s South Street entertainment district late on Saturday. Twelve people were hurt and three died. Police have confirmed that eleven of the wounded were shot and one was hit by broken glass.

Shortly after the shooting, the first victim was taken into custody. At a Monday news conference, Quran Garner was identified as the first victim.

Garner was charged with multiple offenses including two counts each of aggravated attack and two counts each of aggravated violence on law enforcement officers, according to Assistant District Attorney Joanne Pescatore.

Officials said that the gunfire occurred at around 11:30 p.m. after a fight.

Pescatore stated that two of the men pulled out guns and fired at each others during the fight.

Gregory Jackson, age 34, was the first to be shot. She said that Jackson was killed by the man who fired back.

Garner, a friend and accomplice of the second man who fired started shooting down South Street towards the scene where the fight began, she stated. Garner was shot in the hand by a police officer.

Pescatore stated that Garner was in a hospital on Monday. Pescatore did not immediately know if Garner had an attorney who could speak for him.

She said that both Jackson and the man who was fighting back had guns permits.

The man who survived the shooting will not face any charges. She said that he was still in critical condition Monday after sustaining injuries.

Pescatore stated Monday that at least four guns had been fired.

Danielle Outlaw, Police Commissioner, stated that there is still much to be done.
