The sea on the horizon. Birds and marine mammals and the most beautiful birds in the world is the title of the new exhibition that we can enjoy at the Mascort Foundation in Torroella de Montgrí until April 14.

On the day of the presentation of the exhibition, with the curators of the exhibition, the ornithologists Josep del Hoyo and Jordi Sargatal, they explained that they had selected the plates on display among the many contained in the collection, ensuring that they were the most beautiful.

However, it is an exhibition that, beyond the theme of beauty, also allows us to know more things about science and art at the same time.

At the presentation they invited us to choose our favorite illustration, something difficult to do amidst the beauty of the entire set presented in this exhibition.

The exhibition includes a collection of more than a hundred prints of birds and marine mammals and the most beautiful birds in the world.

This initiative is part of the Mascort Foundation’s commitment to collaboration with the Philippe Cousteau Foundation ‘Unión de los Oceanos’ – Espacio Mascort, which will soon open its scientific headquarters in L’Estartit.
