It will be a cold day, with a snow level in the north between 800 to 1,000 meters and around 1,200 meters in the central zone and with lower temperatures as well as frost in most of the northern plateau and part of the central zone .
Temperatures will decrease in most of the country, except in the southeastern third of the peninsula and the Canary Islands where increases will predominate. In Burgos, Palencia and Teruel they will drop to 3 degrees below zero and will only be around 15 degrees in the Mediterranean and in the southern half of the peninsula.
On Wednesday, Constitution Day, the frosts will continue in the north and center of the country, more intense in the Pyrenees, although the maximums will rise compared to the previous day on the Mediterranean coast and in the Guadalquivir Valley, with values ??that could reach between 18-20 degrees. As for precipitation, it will rain that day in Andalusia.
For Thursday, almost widespread rains are also expected in the north, center and west of the Peninsula, more abundant in Galicia, in the provinces of Cáceres, Ávila and Salamanca.
From that day on, there will be a “notable increase” in temperatures in almost the entire territory, with values ??of up to 10 degrees in almost the entire territory, 20 degrees in the Cantabrian Sea and up to 22 degrees in the Mediterranean, Aemet anticipates. .
For Friday and the weekend, temperatures will clearly recover with maximums around 10 to 15 degrees in large areas of the interior, above 15 degrees in coastal areas and in the southern Mediterranean and 20 degrees in the Cantabrian.
