The unexpected death of comedian Paco Arévalo has surprised everyone and left his loved ones shocked. The comedian died at the age of 76 at his residence in Valencia due to “natural causes.” Although there was nothing to suggest that this could happen, his health was drastically declining in the last few hours.
In recent days, he was “dizzy” and “not wanting to do anything”, as revealed by those close to him. And although not much more is known about it, his son, Paco Rodríguez, has not hesitated to speak publicly and answer questions from the press at the door of the funeral home.
“These are very difficult times, everything has been very fast, from yesterday to today,” he began to relate live on the program Let’s see. And for everyone around him, but especially for him and his sister, it has been a hard blow that has left “a huge void.” Still, he is clear that he wants to remember his father as “a good person.”
And, among other things, he wanted to reveal his last hours with his father. Paco Rodríguez has explained that Arévalo was suffering from what he thought was the flu. However, the symptoms were too great. Therefore, he did not hesitate to spend the whole day with him to take care of him.
“Yesterday afternoon, at the end of the day, when I had already entered the room five or six times to give him juice or see if I would make him something to eat, I entered and he no longer answered me,” he said. Still, if there is anything that comforts him, in some way, it is that she “hasn’t left in a painful way.”
And for Paco, his father “was everything.” He has expressed, visibly affected, that he was his reference and that anything positive he can say about him is little. And if there is something he would like, it is for him to be remembered as a man who has “brought smiles to everyone” and not for the bad.
Throughout today, family and friends are approaching the Servisa funeral home, on Avenida de los Naranjos in Valencia, where the funeral chapel has been open since 8 in the morning. However, it seems that he will not be able to attend is his close friend Bertín Osborne.
The singer would be unwell after having contracted covid-19 and will not be able to say goodbye to his friend. “At the moment he has not called me yet, I suppose he will call me. And he will come, I suppose,” Arévalo’s son said this morning. Despite everything, it is certain that Osborne will have his own tribute to the man he came to consider as his brother.
