One person had to be transferred to the hospital and ten others have been assisted by health services after a multiple collision that took place this Friday in the Malaga municipality of Archidona, as reported by the Emergency 112 Andalucía system, a service attached to the Ministry of the Presidency, Interior, Social Dialogue and Administrative Simplification of the Board.
The 112 telephone number received, at 9:35 a.m., the first of numerous notices from individuals reporting a rear-end collision involving between 12 and 15 vehicles (several cars and a truck at kilometer 169 of the A-92 highway, in direction Seville. According to the alerters, the crash had occurred as a result of the weather conditions that were occurring in the area: fog and hail.
Immediately, the coordinating center has activated the Civil Traffic Guard, the Health Emergency Center 061, which has mobilized three units to the site, and the company responsible for maintaining the road.
Health workers have confirmed that eleven people, of whom no further information has been released, have been assisted in this accident. One of them has been evacuated to the hospital with minor injuries and the other ten have been treated on site by medical teams, without the need for transfer.
The accident has caused the total closure of the A-92 towards Seville. This traffic cut is still maintained in the left lane of the highway at the point where the accident occurred.
