In La Vanguardia’s Readers’ Photos we can enjoy several perspectives of this Tuesday’s spectacular red dawn in Barcelona.

On the one hand, you can contemplate the fantastic sunrise captured from the Fabra Observatory. The clouds that appear in the images are altocumulus stratiformis.

These types of clouds are ideal if the light of the sun’s rays hits them shortly before sunrise to generate this impressive lit cloud.

The Fabra is not only an astronomical observatory, but, as we can see in these images, it is also a splendid viewpoint of Barcelona. It is located on a buttress of the Tibidabo mountain, facing south, at 415 meters above sea level.

Now, we can also see how this reddish dawn sky has been experienced from the houses. The people of Barcelona, ??when going out to the balcony or looking out the window this morning, were able to enjoy this spectacle.
