Loor regretted what happened and the moment the country is going through: “A first-class young man, musician, father, husband, son, brother, grandson, all first-class. My wife’s cousin, my cousin. What a disgrace. A destroyed family.” .
Vivianna, the singer-songwriter’s cousin, also confirmed the tragic loss on her social networks: “My cousin Diego Gallardo just died because of these sons of bitches. We are in shock. We can’t believe it. What pain.”

Ecuador is trying to stop the wave of violence that has affected several cities in the country in recent days. At least eight people died this Tuesday in several armed attacks registered in various parts of Guayaquil. In addition, a heavily armed group occupied the facilities of the TC Televisión channel and took the employees hostage.
According to the authorities, behind this wave of violence is the organized crime group Los Tiguerones, a gang that is dedicated to drug trafficking, extortion, hitmen and arms trafficking.
