I share in La Vanguardia Readers’ Photos this series of photographs in which we can see the magical mountain, Montserrat, from the Parc de L’Agulla in Manresa, capital of Bages.

Any point from which you observe Montserrat makes it equally beautiful and magical, but on this occasion we can also appreciate how painting has also emerged from photography with the same perspective.

Being able to capture my photos by painting is a great challenge that, little by little, is bearing fruit. I am very fortunate to be able to enjoy photography and painting. If our mind is busy doing things that we are passionate about and like, physically the results will be great. As I always say, “go for it.”

The Parc de l’Agulla de Manresa is not only the largest park in the Bages region, but also a large nature reserve that houses more than 600 trees of 20 different species. In the background you can see the silhouette of the Montserrat mountain, even reflected in the lake.

This park is the leisure space par excellence of the city of Manresa. Since 1974, its central lake has stored water for Manresa homes, with about 200 million liters of capacity.

Surrounding the lake, there are large areas with grass, a picnic area and spaces for children’s play and sports. You can also observe the fauna, especially the birds.
