Magic World, the new brand that encompasses the project led by Magic Costa Blanca and Grupo Fuertes to modernize and relaunch Marina d’Or, has unveiled its name and logo coinciding with the launch of its website, which already accepts pre-reservations with the expectation of opening next June. The official presentation will take place next week at Fitur 2024, the Madrid tourism fair.
The whole ‘resort’ boasts of offering visitors a new tourism concept with innovative thematic experiences “to position Magic World as a national and international benchmark within European holiday complexes”, according to its promoters in a statement.
Among the novelties of the project for the Oropesa del Mar complex (Castellón), in which 40 million euros will be invested, three large themed hotels stand out: Magic Sports Hotel (formerly Grand Duque), Magic Games Hotel (former Marina d’Or Beach) and Magic Fantasy Hotel (until now three-star Hotel Marina d’Or).
Along with these three new hotels, which are already being renovated, Magic World will have three-star accommodation near the beach (Hotel Magic Inn) and a large five-star spa hotel that will be renovated in a second phase.
In addition, it will offer three water parks with more than 25,000 square meters and other spaces with attractions and play and rest areas with the latest technology for the whole family.
Among the three themed accommodations, Magic Sports Hotel will be “the world’s first accommodation experience in a sports themed property with a water park”, a hotel with decoration, facilities and themed rooms inspired by sports such as football, basketball, tennis or Formula 1. The four-star accommodation will have a new water park (Magic Sports Waterpark) of nearly 7,000 square meters, with a large tower of slides and attractions such as a surf simulator.
For its part, Magic Games Hotel will be “the world’s first themed accommodation experience inspired by video games and board games.” The facilities and rooms will have elements such as arcade games, state-of-the-art consoles, a board game menu and access to a large video game room to play with the family. It will combine both interactive entertainment and next-generation gaming with more familiar traditional games.
And Magic Fantasy Hotel will be a four-star accommodation with themed rooms and spaces inspired by stories (magic, mermaids, princesses, pirates…) and the friendly Magic World mascots, such as the unicorn ‘Rougete’ or the magician ‘Magbit’ .
From Grupo Fuertes and Magic Costa Blanca they show their satisfaction for this new stage: “Magic World will offer visitors a completely renovated, more attractive and modern tourist resort model. It will be a large complex based on the theming of the hotels that will aim to offer fun and relaxation for the whole family with pioneering elements and experiences such as large water parks, sports simulators and state-of-the-art entertainment. Likewise, we hope that Magic World will diversify the offer and help deseasonalize tourism, enhancing the destination and the entire economy of area”.
