If there is a topic that has made numerous headlines in recent months, it has been the birth of Gabriela Guillén’s son. The businesswoman rose to fame as soon as it came to light that she was pregnant with Bertín Osborne. Something that, despite the singer assuming at first, is determined to request a paternity test to clear up any doubts.
And it seems that the waters are not going to calm down, at least in the short term. The new mother sat down last week on the program ¡De Fridays! to speak loud and clear about everything. “It offends me that the paternity of the child is questioned, I am very clear who the father is and if he wants to do the tests, we will do them,” she stated.
On the other hand, Bertín Osborne himself conducted an interview for the magazine ¡Hola! the same day the baby’s birth came to light. “I have decided that I am not going to be a father, I do not want to be a father. If it is confirmed that he is mine, I will help,” he stated emphatically. “I have a responsibility. I have a lot of family. I have children, grandchildren… It would be irresponsible not to do them,” he said about the tests.
But within this controversy, there have been many who have wanted to give their opinion, among them Fabiola Martínez, ex-wife of the singer and mother of two of his children. The Venezuelan has given an interview for Lecturas magazine in which she has made her position on the paternity test clear.
“Only if one of the parties thinks it is important, it must be respected,” he stated. With this, he demonstrates his support for Bertín Osborne. In turn, he wanted to comment on Gabriela Guillén’s interview last week: “I am not the one to judge anyone, everyone knows what they want, can or should do.”
And he has not avoided answering questions about the opinion of the singer’s daughters either. Some of them are not entirely happy with how her father handles the issue, although they respect him, something that does not surprise Fabiola. “If we looked, we would all find ways to be better fathers or better mothers, but that is what they see. Therefore, they cannot be judged,” she said.
Even so, the media war between the parties seems to have only just begun. Gabriel Guillén herself explained how the news of the pregnancy felt to Bertín Osborne, which seems to have hit him like a bucket of cold water: “He said something like an expletive to me. ‘Don’t fuck with me’ or something like that, I don’t know,’ “You’re fucking with me.”
Such was the anger upon learning that he was going to be a father again, that the businesswoman says that she “stuck the window.” “He became very violent. I say, but there is no need,” she added. He also gave her a clear ultimatum: “If you have the baby, our relationship cannot continue, but if you don’t have the baby, our relationship continues.” Now, we will have to wait for the paternity test to know the next steps of the protagonists.
