Agents of the National Police have arrested three men aged 35, 26 and 22 years old in Algeciras (Cádiz) as alleged perpetrators of the crimes of corruption of minors and child pornography with more than 2,000 files on their computers, for now. that there are thousands of files yet to be analyzed.
As indicated by the National Police in a note, in the operation two home searches were carried out in Algeciras, seizing a huge amount of computer equipment, desktop and laptop computers, as well as massive data storage devices, in which in one First analysis, more than 2,000 files have been detected.
The investigation began in February 2023 by the Algeciras Technological Crimes Group, requesting the General Commissariat of the Judicial Police to sweep the Campo de Gibraltar area to detect Internet users who could be downloading or distributing pedophile content material. Thus, several IP addresses were detected from which said material would have been downloaded.
On the part of the research group, efforts were carried out with the aim of finding out the identity of the subjects who were assigned said IP addresses on the dates on which the pedophile files were downloaded and during the following months surveillance was carried out on the addresses to ensure who lived in them.

Subsequently, on December 12, a second entry and search of a home in the same town was carried out, where two brothers, men aged 22 and 26, were arrested for having uploaded more than 400 files of material to the network. child pornographic content, seizing approximately 1,300 files of child pornographic content.
