I have visited a very beautiful place on the Costa Brava, on a spring day and with the sea like a raft of oil: El Port de la Selva, with Cala Tamariua.
An idyllic place for the eyes and the senses. A fishing village that at this time of year breathes calm and tranquility, as can be seen in these photographs in La Vanguardia’s Readers’ Photos.
Cala Tamariua is located not far from the town center of El Port de la Selva. It is made up of stones and gravel, in the northern part of the Cap de Creus Natural Park. Being so close to the town center, it allows you to reach this cove easily on foot.
The Port de la Selva takes us to the seashore, in Alt Empordà. The beaches are its great attraction, all with clean and crystalline waters, where we see the houses reflected. On the shore, the boats rest.
As a good town on the Costa Brava, the presence of boats and ships in its port is an indispensable part of its daily landscape.
