One of the lesser-known facets of Anne Igartiburu is her devotion to helping others. The presenter has been training as a coach for years and is specialized in emotion management, couples and teamwork. She conveys confidence with her voice. That reason, together with her relevance as a public figure, made her the ideal prescriber for Pronokal, a leading firm in weight loss and maintenance, in a message that reinforces her motivation:

“I am very grateful that my passion, personal development, connects with my other professional facet, communication. In this workshop we have highlighted the support provided by the coach to achieve objectives by working on motivation and professionals from areas such as beauty, well-being, health, communication, influencers… It has been very, very good,” explains the presenter in conversation with La Vanguard. Along with her, Pilar Morales, the firm’s NLP and Mindfulness expert, the journalist Cristina Villanueva and the artist Charo Reina.

The Anne Igartiburu coach explains what the driving force behind a responsible commitment is to not give up as soon as the effervescence of an idea disappears. January is the month in which we find the most examples: “Goals play a crucial role in life but it is essential to choose achievable goals that depend on concrete actions; Setting goals that are out of reach may possibly undermine motivation. It is essential to align these objectives with our values: some may no longer be relevant depending on the moment in life you are in.”

How do we know if the person who presents himself to us as a coaching guru is not a morning eater? “There is the International Coaching Federation (ICF), which supports us with a qualification after which there are studies, preparation and hours of practice. I differentiate between a coach who accompanies a process of change from the work done by psychologists and psychiatrists. Ours is accompaniment during a vital change to achieve objectives.”

Anne is the face of Corazón (TVE), an institution of the tabloid press and the friendliest program that has ever existed in our country in this information area. Some have wanted to see a change in structure in the veteran program with the incorporation of talk show hosts and Jordi González as co-presenter with the fall from grace of Igartiburu, whom we have stopped seeing on Saturdays. Anne, a scrupulous professional who is oblivious to controversies, explains naturally that her absence is due to another project that has just started on TVE, the talent show Dance as You Can: “The format that we have been doing since 1997, half an hour with steps to videos of In an agile, entertaining and respectful manner, it now goes to 90 minutes on Saturdays and Sundays, with a set, guests and two presenters. But it happens that I have to combine it with Dance as you can. When this program ends, which will be at the end of March, I will return. And I hope it goes well.” Ditched. Neither bad vibes with Jordi González nor forced change of scenery.

We reflected with her on the kind heart of her program and the fierceness towards the characters on certain sets or publications, she highlights that in their format they treat information with equanimity: “In 27 years perhaps there may be someone who has felt wronged, but We always try to capture the news, be objective and treat others as we would like to be treated.”

She can’t complain, really: at the beginning of 2021 her relationship with Pablo Heras ended after nine years together and three of marriage and about receiving new love, this is what she said on the Europa Press microphone: “When it comes, it comes and it will be good. She arrived with Pablo by chance. I am very well and surrounded by people who love me; If someone has to come along to share my life with, great, and if not, also.”

Anne recognizes her ambiguous position, a privilege that allows her to avoid the most uncomfortable side of the tabloid press: “I know that when you come to the fore and are a public figure you make people talk, but after doing my job, I go home and do it.” What others say, well, it’s relative. In any case, since I am a communicator, it has worked well for me to tell stories instead of having them told about me.”
