The discovery of the body of Ivailo Petrov, the 15-year-old boy who disappeared in the waters of the Mar Menor, temporarily closed the controversial story surrounding the case. The minor had gone sailing with two friends in a boat without knowing how to swim, which ended fatally when he fell into the water and drowned. The body was found five meters deep, at a distance between 1,000 and 1,500 meters from the port of Los Alcázares.

Since then, police authorities have tried to weave together the three focuses that have stood out during the investigation, which involves the families of the three accident victims and contradictory versions. The last point that the police are considering is a video published by Jorge García Badía, a journalist from El Español, this Thursday morning. In these images the victim is supposedly threatened by Paco, a person close to Francisco Javier Medina.

“No, I want to see you, boy, I want to see you to tell you two or three things and that’s it. Don’t have a problem, Ivo, no one is going to do anything to you, no one is going to hit you and no one is going to do anything to you. “I’m not going to put a gun to your head either,” could be heard in a recorded conversation with Ivo as a listener and which is already in the hands of the Civil Guard. This exchange occurred after the Bulgarian family received a series of threats last November.

“If you come and talk to me and stuff, there’s no problem. I’m awake until 3 in the morning here, at Manoli’s house. “You have time to come until 3 in the morning,” the interlocutor insisted, referring to the house where Medina resides. García Badía explained what happened in his article, indicating that a group of armed people showed up at Ivo’s house and threatened to kill several family members.

“They were blamed for the eviction of the squat apartment that Francisco Javier and Rocío had suffered. They also accused them of being behind the fact that Social Services were going to take away custody of their five children,” wrote the journalist from El Español, who also spoke this Tuesday afternoon in And now Sonsoles. During the same broadcast of the program, Sonsoles Ónega was able to speak live with Rocío, Francisco Javier Medina’s partner.

During the conversation, the person involved dropped that she also suffered threats from the deceased’s parents. Her mother, Miglena Petrova, allegedly pulled a knife on her and made constant calls to the police, complaining about aspects such as the high volume of her music. For her part, Ivo’s father grabbed her neck and punched her. Rocío herself insisted through tears that the situation was getting worse with each day of unresolved investigation.
