Pablo Motos is one of the most popular and well-known communicators in our country. After 18 years at the helm of El Hormiguero and having interviewed national and international superstars such as Miley Cyrus, Isabel Pantoja, Will Smith and Sharon Stone, the Valencian has become one of the most respected men in the industry.

Although his program leads prime time every night with great audience data, Motos is also one of the most criticized presenters on social networks due to his peculiar way of approaching conversations with celebrities. A few weeks ago, his interview with Sofía Vergara made hundreds of headlines, as many believe that the presenter abuses his power and makes the guests uncomfortable.

In an interview for El Televisero, Motos has been sincere and has settled the Vergara controversy by explaining that part of the interview was agreed upon: ”Having to justify something that has not happened like what happened with Sofía Vergara, seems like science fiction to me” .

In addition to ending the matter in relation to the leading actress of Griselda, Motos has decided to take advantage of the occasion and launch a dig at the media that has echoed said narrative: “In the press before, the important thing was the truth “Now the important thing is the visits, if we stop telling the truth we will go to hell.”

In the same interview, Motos expressed that the Trancas y Barrancas space does not please the president of the Government: “It is designated by the Moncloa, the president sometimes names us explicitly.” However, he explained that he would like to receive him in the show: “When I have a reason to come.”

Motos spoke openly and had no problem answering the question of whether he would interview Jorge Javier Vázquez, a presenter who has criticized him several times: “It’s not a profile for me to interview, but I don’t rule it out either.”

After so many years at the head of the Atresmedia space, there are few interesting profiles left for Pablo Motos to interview. On the other hand, the one from Valencia is clear about which character he would receive in El Hormiguero if he could choose.

”I would love for Brad Pitt to come on the show, but I don’t think we’ll ever see him. We were very close to going to Miami with the entire program to interview him, but it was not possible,” he said, revealing one of his dreams.
