A video published by the animal-focused Twitter account, @dodo, has gone viral due to its great emotional charge, giving an abandoned dog a second chance.
Selina was on a beach in Bali when she met Hank, an abandoned dog that was found on the street. Everyone passed by him, or anyone who saw him used to laugh at him, because of his curious appearance similar to a small lion.
Selina noticed that Hank was walking aimlessly, not having much energy and trying to drink and feed himself in any way he could. She herself bought him food and gave him water so that she could gain strength, because she saw him exhausted.
However, the first approach was not as I had planned. Hank was reluctant and even tried to bite him, showing that he had not had a good time with humans in the past.
Shortly after, Selina decided to call a specialist to catch him so she could take him to a veterinarian for a thorough checkup. Hank was very scared but a lot of barking started to relax on the way to the vet.
Once at the vet, Hank was shaved and examined, to proceed with a treatment to eliminate the parasites on his skin.
His recovery went well and shortly after he began to feel better and over time, his personality changed and he became more affectionate and even played with other dogs. Furthermore, his appearance was improving and he was eating more and eating better, confirming that little Hank just needed someone to help him to start living again.
