Albert Guinovart maintains a close relationship with Franz Schubert Filharmonia, of which he was the first resident artist: together they have premiered the opera Alba Eterna (commissioned by the group itself), several works for heart and orchestra, works for soloist and orchestra and, Also, on multiple occasions in the last 15 years, Guinovart himself has been invited as a soloist at the piano accompanied by Franz Schubert Filharmonia.

In this concert, two orchestral gems by Puccini will also be performed, such as the Prelude to the third act of the opera Edgar and the Intermezzo from Suor Angelica. “These two pieces allow us to capture the great quality and also the great craftsmanship of the orchestral Puccini and not only of the vocal Puccini,” says Tomàs Grau, chief and artistic director of the Franz Schubert Filharmonia.
