Danone workers have taken their “no to the closure” of the Parets del Vallès plant to the company’s headquarters in Barcelona.

They did so this Monday in a demonstration called by CCOO, USOC and UGT and which coincides with the first month of the announcement of the end of the company’s activity.

The protest left Sants station to “demand that the factory not close” and show that the staff “is united” in this sense, explained the president of the UGT works council, Jordi Barragán Garcia.

The unions estimate that around 250 people have joined the protest in the streets of the Catalan capital.
