There is no talk of anything else in our country other than the arrest of Antonio Tejado. The television collaborator and businessman was arrested along with seven other people last Friday, February 9, for different crimes, among which membership in a criminal organization stands out.
The Superior Court of Justice of Andalusia (TSJA) reported that the eight detainees appeared before the head of the Court of Instruction 16 of Seville, who ordered the imprisonment of six of them and the provisional release of the other two. Yesterday, the former Survivor contestant was jailed without bail after the investigation determined that he was (allegedly) the intellectual author of some of the gang’s robberies.
According to the TSJA, this case is investigating alleged crimes of illegal detention, injuries, robbery with violence, threats and membership in a criminal organization, for which Tejado faces a long and tedious legal procedure. In addition, it has been learned that the accused are the perpetrators of the assault on the house of the singer María del Monte, Antonio Tejado’s aunt, which is why the case has exploded and has become a topic of national discussion.
Hundreds of media outlets are echoing Tejado’s alleged illegal activity, just as many former colleagues on the small screen are commenting on the actions of the man, who would have had no problem robbing his own family. One of the people who has spoken about the accused is Tamara Gorro, an influencer who worked with Tejado for a long time.
The content creator spoke about the topic in the program she works on, Y Ahora, Sonsoles and added more information in an interview for Europa Press. Although she acknowledged that while they were recording Mujeres, Hombres y Viceversa they had good moments, Gorro explained that working with him was difficult, since he was a very unstable person due to different problems of addictions, infidelities, etc.
In the program presented by Sonsoles Ónega, Gorro explained that she and other colleagues could see how every day Tejado came to work “very affected” (by different substances). “He became very aggressive in his way of speaking (…) I didn’t see it with my eyes, but it wasn’t necessary to see to know that he was harmed,” the collaborator explained.
In the conversation with the aforementioned medium, the digital creator acknowledged that she never got along with him, but that she remembers it as “very accelerated”: “We know what that impetus was caused by, we are all aware, but who is it for?” I am sorry for María del Monte and Inma Casal, who are having a very bad time. “It’s been a pain.”
