In this photographic report in La Vanguardia Readers’ Photos I show some photographs of the rural environment of La Roca del Vallès, in the Vallès Oriental region.
A town surrounded by roads, forest and fields. Precisely, I have gone for a walk among those fields that, since I was little, I have always seen when driving along the La Roca road.
And every time I returned from kindergarten, the doctor or from being with my mother, I would notice that green, the forest that surrounded it and this entire environment, in which the Pi Gros stands out like a natural lighthouse.
While I was turning around, I was able to see calçots, farmers harvesting their crops, cows, the aforementioned Pi Gros and some green fields.
Unfortunately, the weather has not provided as much good news. There was a grayish sky, an unseasonable temperature, along with a drought and not very good visibility due to some high fog and smoke.
Although, in truth, I hope to return in a few weeks and find a greener landscape, cultivated and grown fields, along with a cleaner atmosphere and a river with more water. All this will depend on the weather. Still, this walk through La Roca has been worth it.
