María Pombo has managed to establish herself as one of the best-known influencers on the national scene. So much so, that she has dragged everyone around her to stardom, turning the Pombo family into a clan that generates a lot of interest on social networks. And the thing is that the woman from Madrid has garnered more than 3.2 million followers on her Instagram account, where she does not hesitate to publish everything that happens in her life.
If one thing is clear, it is that knowing all the steps that a famous person follows in their day-to-day life is very interesting. Such is the appeal that Pombo generates that it has its own documentary, whose second season is about to see the light of day. And it is in one of these advances where one of the rituals that he carries out most often has been revealed.
The Prime Video documentary that follows the life of the influencer covers these last few months. And one of the most important acts for her has been the realization of a new edition of her ‘Suavefest’, a music festival that she has been organizing since 2019.
It was in September 2023 when the last edition was held, surrounded by fear of possible rains that could have ruined the event. “On the news they said: ‘Dana, the storm is coming this weekend. Please be careful, be careful…’. I watched the news and said it’s not real,” says María Pombo in the promo for her documentary. .
However, he decided to resort to one of his “little tricks” so that nothing would ruin one of his most special days. To the disbelief of those present, in the images you can see Pombo with a knife and a large jar of salt under his arm: “Where can I stick a knife? To do a ritual so that it doesn’t rain.”
A ritual with very simple steps to follow: stick a knife into a large cross made with salt. “Let’s stay home, okay?” Pablo Castellano says when he sees what his wife is doing. “Put a sign not to touch, someone will see it and say to spread the pâté,” he adds with a laugh.
After this, María Pombo leaves the place with a “alas, it’s not raining anymore.” And finally it didn’t rain. A ritual that has caused a stir on social networks. “You know that there is a drought and the important, necessary and vital thing is that it rains for the planet. My goodness, you should do rituals so that it rains,” one user responded, with the support of many others.
But, to this, the influencer has had a clear response: “Madam, this was in September, when the excess water exceeded the absorption capacity of the soil and caused river overflows, land displacements and considerable material damage. Not everything “What happens in Spain is the fault of María Pombo. And much less the fault of a knife.”
