This Monday Naiara was proclaimed the winner of the twelfth edition of the OT with 49% of the public votes, well ahead of Paul Thin (with 26%) and Ruslana (with 25%). An overwhelming victory celebrated in style in Zaragoza, her hometown.

Hundreds of followers gathered at the Prince Felipe Pavilion in the Aragonese capital, with capacity for more than ten thousand people, to experience the outcome of the television contest that has totaled more than twenty editions.

The pavilion was filled to capacity to experience the final of the twelfth edition of the OT, which moved to the Prime Video digital platform, where it became its first live entertainment space.

Joy overflowed in the stands of the sports venue when Chenoa announced that, with 49% of the votes, Naiara became the winner of the contest that has raised figures from the national music scene such as Aitana, Rosa or Bisbal.

Dozens of followers recorded the moment in which it was confirmed that their countrywoman won OT and shared it on social networks. “Thousands of people in Zaragoza watching in a stadium as Naiara won OT. Fantasy!” wrote an X user (formerly Twitter).

In the videos, you can see hundreds of people celebrating the victory of the Zaragoza. First, with a cry of disbelief. There was also no shortage of jumping and hugs of joy.

Naiara became one of the great favorites of the contest from the beginning. She was never nominated and was chosen as the public’s favorite up to three times. At the final gala, she dazzled with a version of the powerful Sobreviviré by Mónica Naranjo, the same one that led Ainhoa ??Cantalapiedra to victory in OT 2002.
