The miracle has been worked. Two people, specifically a man and a woman, have been rescued alive and successfully by firefighters after spending up to two hours on the balcony of one of the apartments affected by the devastating fire declared in the city of Valencia this afternoon.
The two young people were inside their home when the fire broke out, which spread rapidly through a 14-story building and another adjacent building, and they took refuge on their balcony, waiting for the intervention of the firefighters. firefighters, who have arrived with multiple troops at the scene.
They remained there for two hours – the fire broke out around 5:30 p.m. – while some firefighters, located a few meters away from them on a crane, put out the flames that were burning around them with a hose.
And after several minutes of tension, the firefighters have managed to sufficiently control the area and have evacuated the two young people, who have climbed onto one of the cranes and descended to Maestro Rodríguez Street, where the two burned buildings and a field hospital to care for the wounded.
