This last year has not been easy at all for Sálvame’s collaborators. The format came to an end on June 23, following the decision of the Mediaset leadership to dispense with it after more than 14 years in entena. Since then, those who worked on that remembered set have had to find their place, outside or inside television, in order to continue working. One of them, Kiko Hernández, who has dedicated himself to the theater with her husband, Fran Antón. However, her last performance on stage has been somewhat eventful.
After the end of the program, eight of its most emblematic collaborators embarked on the filming of Sálvese donde puede, a Netflix reality show that has compiled the journey of television viewers to the other side of the pond to look for work. Among them, Kiko Hernández. However, Kiko now dedicates most of her time to theater, specifically to the performance of The Wedding of the Year, a play created by Fran’s company.
At Bingo Las Vegas, every weekend the couple takes the stage to try to make the audience smile. However, last Saturday Kiko suffered a spectacular fall that caused an injury. When going on stage, once the show was over, she tripped on one of the steps and ended up on the floor, in front of all the spectators who attended the performance.
The television collaborator and interpreter stood up laughing, but assured that the fall had caused him great pain. Finally, he went to the emergency room, with his ankle visibly swollen. He is now at home, resting and resting so he can recover and return home soon. “This is how I ended today. Emergencies and home. What a piece of hospitality,” Hernández wrote in his Instagram stories. Now, he is already counting the days until he returns to the stage.
As for his relationship with Fran, they both met when they were part of the play Distinto, which marked the debut of the former Big Brother 3 contestant. At first they were just friends, but they soon bonded. “Every day the relationship was more intimate. And the day we decided that we were leaving the play because we were having a terrible time, the kiss that lasted 30 seconds, lasted two minutes,” Kiko himself said on television. Since then, they have not separated, and at the end of last 2023 they went through tying, sealing their love forever.
