The National Police and the Civil Guard have arrested two women as alleged perpetrators of a crime of inducing minors into prostitution, and two men as alleged perpetrators of crimes of sexual assault, after capturing and convincing two minors aged 13 and 15. to have sexual relations in exchange for money, according to sources from the Corps in a statement.

The events took place on February 8, when two minors met two women in the San Andrés neighborhood of the city of Murcia, who proposed and convinced them to go to the municipality of Cehegín and have sexual relations with men at money exchange.

When the minors initially consented to this proposal, they were taken to an apartment located in a municipality in Murcia, where two men were waiting for them with whom they had sexual relations in exchange for 20 euros each.

Upon returning to the city of Murcia, the minors reported what had happened at the Molina de Segura National Police Station, indicating that they had been overcome by the circumstances, filing the pertinent complaint at police stations.

The investigation to determine the identity of all the people involved, as well as to confirm the place where the events had occurred, was complemented by coordinated work with Civil Guard agents from the Caravaca de la Cruz post, who proceeded to arrest men who are charged with crimes of sexual assault.

Likewise, the National Police arrested the women responsible for inducing minors to engage in prostitution, being arrested in Murcia on February 23. All the people involved were brought to justice for the adoption of the appropriate precautionary measures.
