The Promise has returned to the small screen one more day with a most exciting episode. In the latest installment of the Spanish Television La 1 series, María Fernández became a driving force in organizing a strike among service members, and attempted to recruit more colleagues to the cause despite Salvador’s warnings and attempts of Jana for dissuading her.
Manuel traveled to Córdoba in his attempt to discover the truth about Abel, while Pelayo lied about his state of health to protect Catalina from the dangers lurking in the palace.
For her part, Petra uncovered shocking revelations about the Marchioness’s decision regarding her son’s tragedy, something that could change the family dynamics of The Promise forever.
In the next chapter Petra will find out that it was Cruz who organized for Feliciano and Curro to go on the hunt together. Even though she will ask for explanations, she will strive to overcome adversity. For her part, María Fernández will not give up on her efforts to lead the entire service to strike, without giving in to her doubts.
Meanwhile, Manuel will return from Córdoba without having yet assimilated what he has discovered about Abel and that has left him more uneasy. In addition, there are still more surprises left from him.
To keep Catalina safe from a possible attempt by Cavendish to kill her, Pelayo will propose that she go to the United States under the pretext of visiting Leonor. Jana will try to get Lope to open her heart to Vera, while Curro fears that Alonso will reprimand him for having escaped to the town of Luján.
