Facebook and Instagram, two services from the Meta technology corporation, have suffered downtime in several countries since 4:30 p.m. this Tuesday (Peninsular time), as happened a few months ago.

The two popular social networks have registered problems due to a service outage in several countries, which is affecting a large number of users, who cannot access their accounts or see updates.

Reports from both Facebook and Instagram point to a general drop in both mobile devices and computers, which causes both social networks to suddenly close the session of their users and no longer allow them to enter.

“We are aware that people have problems accessing our services. “We are working on this now,” Meta spokesperson Andy Stone said in a post.

However, some Instagram users are already informed that their system has been restored, and the application is working normally again. The same thing happened with Facebook a few hours later. Little by little, the service has been reestablished and although the problem has not been completely solved, many users can now enjoy both social networks normally.
