New police incident in the Mina neighborhood of Sant Adrià de Besòs with altercations. Several neighbors scolded and attacked the police officers who were trying to remove several vehicles with the tow truck last night. The police had to call for reinforcements because part of the neighborhood insulted them and even threw objects at them from the balconies.

The neighborhood revolt, which was joined by dozens of neighbors, began shortly before 10 p.m. when several Local Police officers fined several cars and tried to remove a vehicle parked incorrectly on the Rambla de Camarón. Several neighbors scolded and attacked the police, so they had to call for reinforcements. Several Mossos and Local Police teams immediately showed up to support those who were being violated.

The fight, according to Metrópolis, has also caused several damages to other vehicles, for which three people were arrested and taken to the Mossos police station, where several dozen neighbors have shown up to support the detainees. On the other hand, the City Council regrets the participation of other residents who threw objects at the officers from their balconies, without any serious injuries being reported.

The mayor of Sant Adrià de Besòs, Filo Cañete, through social networks has shown her support for the Local Police and Mossos for their joint action in the Mina neighborhood. The socialist councilor appreciates the vocation and professionalism shown by the agents “in defense of coexistence and respect for public space” and states that, as mayor “I am determined to guarantee coexistence in all our neighborhoods.”
