Cercanías circulation in Madrid is suffering delays due to an incident at the south entrance of the Atocha Station caused by the works that are being carried out on the track infrastructure and which affects the trains that circulate on this route.
Specifically, the breakdown was caused by the breakage of a signaling cable for the nighttime works being carried out on the railway infrastructure. The incident is causing trains on lines C3, C4a, C4b and C5 to suffer delays or service rescheduling.
Due to movement restrictions in the infrastructure, travelers are being instructed to use alternative means of transportation, while Adif technicians are working to resolve the incident.
