A 66-year-old man died this Thursday afternoon after falling into the water while canoeing in the Santa Quiteria reservoir, in the municipality of Almassora (Castellón).
According to the Emergency Information and Coordination Center (CICU), around 5:00 p.m. their intervention was requested to assist the man who had fallen into the water, and a SAMU unit was mobilized to the scene.
The medical team has performed advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation but there has been no response, he had died, according to sources, who indicate that the autopsy will reveal the causes of death.
