I am sharing in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia some spring photographs from the viewpoint of Figuerassa, in the region of Berguedà, in the Pre-Pyrenees.
This viewpoint consists of two circular platforms, one higher than the other, perfect for capturing the surroundings and taking advantage of taking selfies.
It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Catalonia and the 360-degree views it offers at 1,550 meters above sea level are as wonderful as they are spectacular, perhaps not suitable for people with vertigo.
From there you can perfectly see the Baells reservoir on one side and, on the other, the city of Berga, as can be seen in the images I share in La Vanguardia Readers’ Photos.
The images have been captured on a fairly clear day, just a little fog that did not impede visibility. In one of the captures a friendly little dog sneaked in who seemed to also enjoy the beautiful views of Berga.
To go up to the viewpoint you can go by car, although I also ran into cyclists and people walking. Part of the journey is unpaved but it is definitely worth it.
