José Luis Nuag, known for exposing his abilities as a druid and magician in several television programs, died this Wednesday, May 22. A piece of news that has been brought to light by Versió RAC1 by Toni Clapés, a space where the Catalan appeared on the small screen for the first time in 2016 and which made him gain popularity in his sector.

“We have had very good moments with him on the program,” said the presenter before thanking him for the moments he has given them over the years. “Today he has left us, let’s remember some of the moments we have shared with our beloved ‘Taranís’,” they stated on the space’s official X (Twitter) account.

After this news, there have been several friends and acquaintances who have wanted to send him messages of affection through social networks. “A wise man, a druid, a great connoisseur of the esoteric world, a committed, generous, dedicated, coherent man who practiced what he taught,” defines him as his friend M. Mar Trot Casals, a tarot teacher.

Likewise, he has put on the table that only three weeks ago he was able to see him for the last time: “José Luis, I’m sure you have already met all of your loved ones. Now you are still in our hearts.”

But it is not the only message he has received after his death. Among others, digital creator Alex García has stated that José Luis Nuag was a “pioneer of Celtic magic and folklore.” Something that has been reflected in his numerous appearances on television sets.

Although he appeared for the first time at RAC1 to welcome the autumn of 2016, he later attended several more times to, among other things, perform a ritual to end the drought in Catalonia. Added to this are other collaborations on programs on TVE, TV3, Antena 3, Telecinco and other regional and local channels.

The Catalan druid himself explained on his official website that he decided to enter that world from a very young age and thanks to another druid who “opened the doors to the Knowledge of the Druidric Path.” And it was in the French Druid Order, to which he belonged for many years, where he learned “from good sources the unwritten wisdom of the Druids.”

Such was his passion for the subject, that he decided to write several books on Magical Sciences and has been a prologue writer in other works. Her background and popularity also allowed her to hold several tarot and magic fairs, seminars and workshops around the national territory. A goodbye that Toni Clapés has felt a lot in his RAC1 program.
