The Promise has returned to the small screen one more day with a most exciting episode. In the latest installment of the Spanish Television La 1 series, Pía confronts Petra about her misunderstanding with Mr. Pellicer, showing remorse for having unfairly accused her. Before her, she had had an altercation with Cruz’s personal maid, calling her derogatory. Meanwhile, María Fernández considers a job offer away from La Promesa, debating between salary and other more personal aspects of her life, and Salvador supports her decision.

On the other hand, the relationship between Lope and Vera deteriorates further after their breakup, with Lope pressuring her to reveal her past. Candela tries to discover the truth behind Virtudes’ lie about her visit to Jaén, but she is unsuccessful. On another front, Catalina and Cruz have a confrontation due to problems in the jam business, with the Count of Añil intervening in the discussion in a humiliating way. Meanwhile, Blanca Palomar proposes a solution to resolve the tension between Jana and Manuel, but her idea might not be well received by them.

In the next chapter of The Promise, tensions reach a fever pitch when Lorenzo discovers that Pelayo has overheard his conversation with the supposed buyer. Despite the captain’s threats, the count decides to be honest with Catalina about what happened. Meanwhile, Alonso is furious with Ayala, although he agrees with the others to remain calm, a proposal that Martina does not seem willing to accept. Candela still can’t get Virtues to reveal the truth to her, and Simona decides to openly confront her, demanding to know the real reason behind her absence.

On another front, Vera reveals to María Fernández the true origin of the money, thus getting closer to a possible reconciliation with Lope. Meanwhile, Diego’s health continues not to improve, and Petra tries to sow discord against Pía, but she is met with firm opposition from Ricardo. Furthermore, in The Promise she makes the entrance of her Santos, Ricardo’s new lackey and son, with whom she seems to have a conflictive relationship. Furthermore, Jana and Manuel face an uncomfortable situation, although they are willing to try to resolve their differences.
