The Civil Guard has arrested a 69-year-old man as the alleged perpetrator of sexual assault crimes, after going to the Llíria barracks (Valencia) to confess that he had been sexually assaulting minors around him for decades.
Specifically, the man would have confessed that these sexual assaults have been occurring for nearly half a century, as sources from the armed institute have informed EFE.
The Levante-EMV newspaper announced this Wednesday the news of the arrest of this pedophile who, according to what it says, confessed to having committed sexual assaults on five minors: his granddaughter – with functional diversity -, a sister, his sister-in-law, a friend of his granddaughter and an 8-year-old girl, the only one who is still a minor.
The Investigative Court number 7 of Llíria, acting as guard, agreed this Tuesday to place him in provisional prison, communicated and without the possibility of bail for several crimes of sexual assault, according to the newspaper.
He adds that the man went to the Civil Guard barracks last Sunday accompanied by his current wife, mother of one of the victims, and confessed to the sexual assaults he carried out for decades.
The morning after his confession, and after having contacted the victims to file the pertinent complaint, the Civil Guard arrested him.
