A few weeks ago, TikToker María Alcalde published a video on the social network that quickly went viral. The influencer shared with her followers the four-to-one rule that she uses when buying new clothes. “Every time we doubt whether to buy a garment we have to be able to put together at least four outfits,” she explained.

Now, Alcalde has revealed the trick he follows when he wants to travel in spring. A tip that can be great for those people who plan a trip of a few days by plane and who prefer to carry a backpack or a small suitcase to save on the check-in cost imposed by airlines.

This Tuesday, the TikToker published a video where she showed the 4-3-2-1 rule, a very simple rule to follow and that promises to achieve very easy, comfortable and stylish outfits. Those interested must select four tops, three bottoms, two pairs of shoes and a coat.

In the video, Alcalde shows how she packs her suitcase following this rule. From the tops she chooses a tank top, a short-sleeved t-shirt, a shirt and a striped knit sweater; for bottoms, infallible jeans, a long skirt and a shirt; for footwear, some moccasins and some Adidas sneakers and, for a coat piece, a trench, a piece that is a staple of the mid-season wardrobe.

Once you have the pieces selected, you begin to create different outfits that demonstrate that it is not necessary to overfill your suitcase to obtain simple and casual looks. Among the mixes, the Bermuda shorts stand out with the shirt and the knitted sweater in case it gets cold in the afternoon; the same sweater with the long skirt or the jeans with a tank top and sneakers.

“What a good idea, I’m writing it down for my next vacation,” “You just solved my life” or “How well thought out” are just some of the comments that the publication has already accumulated in just a few hours.
